Anti-aging Skincare for Sensitive Skin
Anti-aging creams are available in plenty these days. We have to be careful in choosing the particular cream suited for our skin type. Aging is a process that can be slowed down with the help of creams that can help the skin to rejuvenate itself. All skin types are not the same. Some of the creams will not suit a particular skin type. It is best to know the ingredients in the skin cream before deciding to buy it.
The skin is generally sensitive when exposed to sunlight. The heat of the sun has a very disastrous effect on the skin of a person. It is best not to be exposed to the sun for a long period of time. It leads to wrinkling of the skin, acne, brown spots and dehydrated skin. The ultraviolet radiation from the sun is responsible for this aging. Prolonged exposure leads to wrinkles, discoloration of the skin and in some cases, cancer. The ultraviolet radiation changes the DNA cells in the skin. It does not allow the skin to repair the damaged skin cells. It is very essential to protect the skin from the sun. Wearing a sun screen lotion will help to reduce the sun on the skin. Any person's skin that is sensitive to the heat of the sun should avoid direct exposure to sunlight. Using sun screen lotions with SPFs 15 or higher will help the skin to look younger.
Most anti aging cream have either Vitamin A (Retinol) or Vitamin C. They help in lessening wrinkles and sunburns. They also help in building the collagen in the skin. Some people have skin that is sensitive to Vitamin A and Vitamin C. They can use F-6 Furfuryladenine which retards the aging process and reduces wrinkles. It is good for sensitive skin.
Green tea extracts also help in the anti aging process. This is found in many creams. This reduces the puffiness around the eyes; it reduces wrinkles, fine lines and also large pores that are formed due to aging. Vitamin K in creams also helps sensitive skin spider veins and quickens the healing process of any wound on the skin. It brightens the eyes and reduces the lines and dark circles under the eyes.
Alpha Hydroxy Acid based creams are also good for sensitive skins. Also known as AHA, these have lactic acids, citric acid or glycolic acids. Lactic acid is found in milk, citric acid is found in apples, pears and grapes, and glycolic acid is made from sugarcane. These are used in many skin care products and creams. They are found in the form of peels. Slight burning and redness is a temporary side effect in people with sensitive skin.
It is best to keep the skin hydrated and moisturized. This makes the skin soft and smooth with less wrinkling. Glycerine based moisturizing soaps are also very good for sensitive skin.
To have good skin, care should be taken as to what we eat. Caloric reduction and healthy nutrition (CRAN) is what will help us lead a healthy life. This in turn will make us healthy. This will retard the aging process. Another method is caloric restriction. We should consume lesser calories. This will help in slowing the aging process.
If we take care of our health and eat properly, keeping our skin hydrated and moisturized, it will go a long way in looking young and healthy. Avoiding the direct heat of the sun is also very essential. Be sure to follow these rules and the skin will always look youthful.
