Tips to reduce aging wrinkles

aging-wrinkles

The first grey hair, the beginning of an expanding waist and the initial wrinkle are all the indications of one getting old. Many of the reason for aging are still not totally understood - but what is obvious is the human body simply wears out and cells do not renew themselves. The common misconception that medical science has increased the human lifespan is unfortunately untrue. Medical advances have increased the average life expectancy, meaning statistically more people are seeing well into their old age.

There are many factors which cause aging of your skin - pollution, smoking, chronological aging, hormone depletion, immune suppression, oxygen depletion, collagen destruction, reduced cell turnover, abnormal cell formation, decreased fat content, intercellular deficiency etc. It is these multiple reasons for skin aging which make a single type of treatment not possible.

One of the reasons why aged skin looks more transparent and thinner than younger skin is because younger skin has more fat cells in the dermis than older skin. As we grow in years, the supporting fat tissues decrease, the bone density deteriorates and facial muscles lose their firmness. While all these processes are going on, the skin continues to grow and expand, this is why the skin begins to sag, and the face takes on an ever more haggard look.

With aging, the water-retaining and texture-enhancing components of the skin become exhausted and no longer wrinkle-free-skinreplenish as well as they should. Collagen and Elastin, the skin's support structures get damaged. Older skin, because of its weakening immune system, is more susceptible to allergic reactions. Yet another factor is the cells stop regenerating at the same rate or in the same way as they did when we were younger. Abnormally shaped cells change the texture of the skin and prevent it from retaining water. This is why you find older skin usually drier than younger skin.

Many companies claim to manufacture products which combat the symptoms or cause of aging. DNA and RNA products even claim to counteract the depletion produced by your cells genetic coding. Certain companies use collagen and elastin into their products with god intentions. But unfortunately they are not able to bond to the collagen and elastin in your skin. They merely work as moisturizing ingredients, refreshing the top layer of skin and giving a temporary youthful look. Other companies use ingredients like ceramides and hyaluronic acids, but there is no scientific research to establish that they prevent the skins from aging. The simple fact is that growing old is inevitable and all one can do is to counteract the sun and slow the entire process.

It is mostly exposure to sun that damages the skin. If you're going out in the sun use a high factor sunscreen. Use Cleanser to keep your skin clean and clean skin will help any healing the skin needs. Also regularly washing your face increases circulation and improves cell regeneration. Please also know that a moisturizer or mask with RETIN-A helps arrest abnormal cell production caused by sun damage. Fruit acids or Alpha hydroxyl acids are non-abrasive exfoliators and masks which make your skin smoother and softer. Vitamin E is good because it also is a natural skin moisturizer, also try vitamin C as it helps collagen production.

Any medical professional will tell you that Vitamin A is the answer for young looking wrinkle-free skin. Revitalize your skin with retinol, which is the purest form of vitamin A, and has been clinically proven to help retain skin glow. Retinol is one of the few substances, which has a molecular structure small enough to penetrate the outer layer of your skin.
